爾時，世尊既成道已，作是思惟：離欲寂靜是最為勝，住大禪定，降諸魔道。

At that time, after the Bhagavat had attained the Way, he reflected thus: "Renouncing desire and [abiding in] tranquility is the most supreme." He dwelt in great dhyāna and subdued all the ways of Māra.
