凡世有貪婬、恚怒、愚癡之毒處人心中，若有智者，須早以道消去，乃免危殃之禍。猶如愚人不早釋逆風之炬，必自燒其手也。

When the poisons of covetous lust, anger, and foolish delusion reside within the minds of worldly people, if one is wise, one must dissolve them early through the Way so as to avoid perilous calamities. It is just like a foolish person who does not quickly release a torch held against the wind, and surely burns their own hand.
