非由我作觀行方得身心空無，本性空寂，元來無故。故《金剛三昧經》云：「若化眾生，無生於化。不生無化，其化大焉。」

It is not that body and mind become empty and non-existent only through my cultivating meditative contemplation; it is because their original nature is empty and quiescent, fundamentally non-existent. Hence the *Vajrasamādhi-sūtra* says: "If one transforms sentient beings, let there be no arising from transformation. When nothing arises, there is no transformation, and that transformation is great indeed."
