今初第一真空觀者，彼觀門中有四句，謂會色歸空觀、明空即色觀，上二皆簡情顯解；三空色無礙觀，解終趣行；四泯絕無寄觀，行起解絕。今經文二：一色相空淨、二空色同如。

Now, as for the first, the contemplation of true emptiness, in that contemplation gate there are four propositions: namely, the contemplation of gathering form back into emptiness, and the contemplation of clarifying that emptiness is precisely form—these two both eliminate emotional grasping and reveal understanding; third, the contemplation of the non-obstruction of emptiness and form, where understanding culminates and tends toward practice; fourth, the contemplation of extinction and severance without reliance, where practice arises and understanding is severed. Now, the sūtra text has two parts: first, form and marks being empty and pure; second, emptiness and form being identical with tathatā.
