冥於一如。然上七段，悟時既相躡清淨，迷時亦相躡垢染。應云「覺不明故令心不淨，心不淨故見塵不淨，見塵不淨故眼根不淨，如是乃至一多世界不淨。」文勢及義意對經可知。

means merging into the one tathatā. However, regarding the seven sections above, just as at the time of enlightenment they successively follow in purity, so too at the time of delusion do they successively follow in defilement. It should be stated: "Because enlightenment is not luminous, the mind is rendered impure; because the mind is impure, the perceived objects are impure; because the perceived objects are impure, the visual faculty is impure; and so forth up to the single and manifold worlds being impure." The momentum of the text and its intended meaning may be understood by contrasting it with the sūtra.
