真我本有，迷之謂無；妄我本空，執之為有。四皆橫計，故云爾也。

The true self is fundamentally existent, yet being deluded about it, they call it non-existent; the false self is fundamentally empty, yet grasping onto it, they hold it to be existent. Since all four are arbitrary fabrications, it is said in this way.
