12.13

次明嚩字門。若能與此相應解諸法則（即是真言次第法則也），即能為一切眾生作大利益之事也。先當如上觀此字，白如雪乳流注其心。若流注充滿其身，內外皆淨，一切見者即同佛身也。又從其身而流注出，遍於一切眾生身中極令淨滿，又更流注滿於大地。當知此即於祕密釋中是大慈悲水也。觀於世間極熱惱故而利益之，能令或飲或觸，或除眾患，必定於無上菩提有能，是此水現同甘露。或顯或祕，於二釋中皆有世出世利用也。無疑，謂當生決定信不疑也。

Next, the syllable-gateway va is explained. If one can correspond with this and understand all rules and procedures (that is, the rules and procedures of the sequence of mantras), one can perform great beneficial tasks for all sentient beings. One should first contemplate this syllable as above, white as snow and milk, flowing and pouring into one's heart. If it flows and fills one's body, interior and exterior are both purified, and all who see one will perceive one as identical to a Buddha's body. Furthermore, it streams forth from one's body, pervading the bodies of all sentient beings to make them exceedingly pure and replete, and further flows and fills the great earth. One should know that, in the secret interpretation, this is precisely the water of great compassion. Contemplating that the world is exceedingly feverish and afflicted, one brings benefit to it, causing them to drink it, touch it, or eliminate numerous afflictions, definitely acquiring capability toward unexcelled bodhi; this water manifests identical to amṛta. Whether exoteric or esoteric, in both interpretations there are worldly and supramundane functions and benefits. 'Without doubt' means that one should give rise to resolute faith without doubt.
