8.40

如滅除在家，種種苦時慶，
中夜心歡喜，往詣苦行處。
亦如諸天眾，敬禮圍遶者，
汝今得同彼，作寂之喜慶。

"As at the celebration when he eradicated the various
Sufferings of household life,
With a joyous heart in the middle of the night,
He proceeded to the place of austerities;
And just as the heavenly hosts
Paid homage, circumambulating him,
You now obtain a celebration identical to that,
A joyful celebration of making tranquility."
