Fifteenth: regarding "What is the deva mind? It means that mental thoughts are accomplished according to what one wishes": for example, due to the retribution of past lives, if the devas need anything, it arises in accordance with their mind without exertion. When such desires and wishes frequently arise, one should know that it is the deva mind. It is also because of having previously been born in the higher realms that one has this habit. If a mantra practitioner does not look toward the distant and vast fruit, but is merely led by their own mind, it can obstruct the pure bodhicitta. One should be aware of this oneself and not crave worldly siddhis; this is its antidote.
