The sūtra says: 'If one destroys dharmas and abides in the unconditioned, one shall attain fearlessness regarding the selflessness of dharmas.' This is precisely the mind that mounts the objectless, contemplating the nature of the selflessness of dharmas. When outside the mind the cognition of existent or non-existent images is completely ungraspable, the king of the mind is sovereign and awakens to the originally unborn; freed from the choking bonds of dharmas, one attains a place of respite in the selflessness of dharmas. For a mantra practitioner, when their mind attains sovereign functioning in the path of yoga, their station is equivalent to this.
