二、請示修行。「唯願世尊大慈哀愍，開示我等奢摩他路，令諸闡提墮彌戾車。」

Second, requesting instruction on practice: "I only pray that the World-Honoured One, in his great compassion and pity, will open and show us the path of śamatha, causing all icchantikas to destroy [their descent into] mlecchas."
