作是語已，五體投地。及諸大眾傾渴翹佇，欽聞示誨。

Having spoken these words, he cast the five limbs to the ground. Along with the great assembly, yearning intensely and craning their necks in anticipation, they reverently waited to hear the instruction and admonition.
