城中復有長者居士同時飯僧，佇佛來應。佛勅文殊分領菩薩及阿羅漢應諸齋主。
In the city there were also elders and householders feeding the saṅgha at the same time, awaiting the Buddha's arrival. The Buddha commanded Mañjuśrī to divide and lead the bodhisattvas and arhats to respond to all the feast patrons.
