具云鉢羅斯那恃多，此云勝君。先王崩日，忌諱之晨，故云諱日，即自恣後之一日也。諱，忌也，以忌舉吉事，諱避其名。宮掖，內庭也，后妃居所，在天子左右，如肘腋耳。王之宮禁，策掖者所居故。

Fully called Prasenajit, translated here as "Victorious Sovereign." The day the late king passed away was a morning of mourning taboos, hence it is called "memorial day"; namely, the day following the pravāraṇā. "Taboo" means avoiding, because auspicious matters are avoided, and one shuns his name. "Palace inner quarters" refers to the inner court, the residence of the queens and consorts, situated to the left and right of the Son of Heaven like elbows and armpits. It was the King's forbidden palace, the residence of those who attended at his side.
