10.18

「阿難當知，是得正知奢摩他中諸善男子，凝明正心，十類天魔不得其便。方得精研，窮生類本，於本類中生元露者，觀彼幽清圓擾動元，於圓元中起計度者，是人墜入二無因論。」

"Ānanda, you should know that when all these good sons, having attained right knowledge in śamatha, keep their correct minds concentrated and bright, the ten classes of heavenly māras can find no advantage against them. Only then can they thoroughly investigate and exhaustively probe the origin of the categories of living beings. In the origin of their own category, where the source of life is laid bare, when they contemplate that hidden, clear, and pervasive source of fluctuating motion, if they form calculations regarding this pervasive source, they will fall into the two theories of non-causality."
