10.40

「三者、是人窮盡六根，末那執受心意識中本元由處，性常恒故，修習能知八萬劫中一切眾生循環不失，本來常住，窮不失性，計以為常。」

"Third, this person exhaustively investigates the six sense faculties, manas, and the basis from which the mind, intellect, and consciousness held and received arise, finding that its nature is constantly eternal. Through his cultivation, he is able to know that all sentient beings over eighty thousand eons cycle without being lost, permanently abiding from the beginning; exhaustively probing this non-lost nature, he calculates it as permanent."
