阿難白佛言：「世尊！若此見性必我非餘，我與如來觀四天王勝藏寶殿居日月宮，此見周圓，遍娑婆國，退歸精舍秖見伽藍，清心戶堂但瞻簷廡。」

Ānanda addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One! If this nature of seeing is certainly I and none other, when the Tathāgata and I observed the wondrous storehouse jewelled palace of the Four Heavenly Kings residing in the palaces of the sun and moon, this seeing was complete and round, pervading the Sahā realm. Returning to the monastery, I see only the vihāra; purifying my mind in the inner hall, I gaze merely upon eaves and verandas."
