二、破見性離身疑。此疑因前佛令轉物，則同如來，身心圓明，不了會通萬法之旨，便謂如來令轉前物成我真見。物若是見，此則見性離身而有，故成此疑。文三：一、伸疑，三：一、疑。

Second, refuting the doubt that the nature of seeing is separate from the body. This doubt arises because previously the Buddha instructed that turning objects makes one identical to the Tathāgata, with body and mind perfectly luminous. Failing to understand the principle of harmonizing and comprehending the myriad dharmas, [Ānanda] immediately presumed that the Tathāgata was commanding him to turn the objects before him into his own true seeing. If objects are seeing, then this nature of seeing exists separate from the body; hence this doubt arose. The text has three parts: first, stating the doubt, in three parts: 1. the doubt.
