阿難白佛言：「世尊！若此見精必我妙性，今此妙性現在我前，見必我真，我今身心復是何物？」
Ānanda said to the Buddha: "World-Honoured One, if this essence of seeing must be my wondrous nature, and now this wondrous nature is present before me, and seeing must be my true [self], then what are my present body and mind?"
