「阿難！若彼眾生同分妄見，例彼妄見別業一人，一病目人同彼一國，彼見圓影，眚妄所生，此眾同分所現不祥同見業中瘴惡所起。」

"Ānanda! If you compare those sentient beings' false seeing of a collective share to that false seeing of an individual karma of a single person: the one person with diseased eyes is like that entire country. His seeing round shadows arose from the falsity of cataracts; the inauspicious portents manifested by this collective share similarly arose from the malicious pestilence within their shared karma of seeing."
