From one sentient being to sentient beings of the ten directions, proceeding from the few to the many, whether dependent or primary retributions, they all stem from not comprehending the marks of the single dharmadhātu. Within the untainted mind, the falsity of seeing suddenly arises, dividing into seeing, hearing, awareness, and knowing, which serve as false disease-conditions; subsequently, all diverse objective realms are seen. Both arising and perishing are inseparable from falsity; therefore it says 'coming together.' 'Coming together' means being inseparable. Hence the text below says: 'Seeing and hearing are like illusory cataracts; the three realms are like flowers in space.' The Awakening of Faith also says: 'The three realms are deceptive, made by mind alone; apart from the mind, there are no objective realms of the six dusts.'
