生滅，同也。非生滅，異也。為同為異，兩亦也。見聞既真，四句叵得，不動周遍，其大者歟？
"Arising and ceasing" is identity. "Neither arising nor ceasing" is difference. "Identical or different" is both. Since seeing and hearing are already real, the four propositions cannot be apprehended; unmoving and all-pervasive, are they not indeed great?
