重審生處也。晴即浮塵，境即明暗，成有成無即虛空也。識動下二句結非和合，動謂能了別也，澄謂但照境也。

This re-examines the place of arising. 'Pupils' refers to the superficial dust [of the physical organ]; 'objects' refers to light and dark; 'constitutes existence, constitutes non-existence' refers to space. The two lines from 'consciousness moves' down conclude that they are not combined: 'moves' means being able to discern; 'clear' means merely illuminating the objective realm.
