「云何初心二義決定？阿難！第一義者，汝等若欲捐捨聲聞，修菩薩乘，入佛知見，應當審觀因地發心與果地覺，為同為異。」

"What are the two decisive meanings of the initial mind? Ānanda, as for the first meaning: if you wish to renounce the śrāvaka [vehicle], cultivate the Bodhisattva Vehicle, and enter the knowledge and vision of the buddhas, you should carefully examine whether the initial resolve on the causal ground and the enlightenment of the fruit ground are identical or different."
