初二句指妄，謂從根境緣所生見，故云緣見。不明下結真，謂不逐緣生，不由境起，湛然常照，明不能發、暗不能昏，純一真覺，內瑩清淨，此體發現，根塵識心一時圓妙。故前文云「應念化成無上知覺。」

The first two lines point out the false, referring to seeing that arises conditioned by faculties and objects, hence called "seeing conditioned [by objects]." From "when the unilluminated..." downward concludes with the true, meaning that it does not arise following conditions nor is it produced by objects; serenely and constantly illuminating, brightness cannot manifest it, darkness cannot obscure it. Pure, uniform, true awareness is internally lustrous and clear; when this essence manifests, faculties, dusts, and the conscious mind are simultaneously perfectly wondrous. Therefore the previous text says: "transforming in an instant into supreme cognition."
