「以諸眾生從無始來循諸色聲，逐念流轉，曾不開悟性淨妙常，不循所常，逐諸生滅，由是生生雜染流轉。」

"Because all sentient beings from beginningless time have conformed to forms and sounds, and drifted along following their thoughts, they have never awakened to the pure, wondrous constancy of their nature. Not conforming to that which is constant, they chase after arising and ceasing, and from this, they transmigrate in defilement lifetime after lifetime."
