「若棄生滅，守於真常，常光現前，根塵識心應時銷落，想相為塵，識情為垢，二俱遠離，則汝法眼應時清明，云何不成無上知覺？」

"If you abandon arising and ceasing and guard the true and constant, the constant light will manifest before you, and the mind of faculties, dusts, and consciousnesses will dissolve and fall away at that very moment. Conceptual appearances are dust; conscious emotional clinging is defilement. When both are far removed, your Dharma-eye will immediately become clear and luminous. How could you then fail to achieve unsurpassed awareness?"
