「當為比丘室中安禪，我有弟子窺窓觀室，唯見清水遍在室中，了無所見。童稚無知，取一瓦礫投於水內，激水作聲，顧盻而去。」

"When I was a monk practicing meditation peacefully in my room, a disciple of mine peeped through the window into the room and saw only clear water filling the entire room, seeing nothing else at all. Being young and ignorant, he took a tile-shard and threw it into the water, which struck the water with a splash, and after looking around, he left."
