聞熏觀門成就精明，智照既融，法界圓遍，而無明邪暗永不能生。藥叉等類咸受幽氣，明能破暗，故令惡鬼目不能視。

The contemplation-gate of hearing-perfuming accomplishes essential clarity; once the illumination of wisdom is fused, it perfectly pervades the dharmadhātu, and the evil darkness of ignorance can never arise. Classes such as yakṣas all partake of murky breath; light can destroy darkness, and therefore evil ghosts are made unable to see with their eyes.
