般若德也。前四句揀不通，口鼻下二句經文語倒，故先舉所例口鼻，後舉能例身根，蓋翻譯者略順根次也。隔垣下四句，正顯耳根不同前五，由是得名通真實耳。

This is the virtue of prajñā. The first four lines exclude what is not pervasive. In the two lines beginning with 'the mouth and nose', the phrasing of the sūtra text is inverted, first citing the mouth and nose that are being compared, and then citing the body faculty that serves as the comparison, because the translator roughly followed the order of the faculties. The four lines beginning with 'Hearing sound through a wall' directly reveal that the ear faculty is unlike the previous five; on this basis it is named 'pervasive reality'.
