前四句頌佛令揀，成就下二句正指圓門，顯是雅當。自餘下五句明二十四聖各隨所因事相而成觀行，皆是佛之威神，方便令其得道，非是久長修學淺深二機同入之法門也。反顯觀音即是淺深二機同說、同入，久長修學之法門耳。

The first four lines praise the Buddha's command to select; the two lines from "Attaining the mind of nirvāṇa" directly indicate the door of perfection, showing it to be truly appropriate. The five lines from "The other expedients..." explain that the twenty-four sages each established their contemplation practices in accordance with their respective circumstantial bases, all through the Buddha's spiritual power as an expedient to enable them to attain the Way, and not as a Dharma door of long-term cultivation and study into which both shallow and deep capacities enter alike. This implicitly reveals that Avalokiteśvara's door is precisely the Dharma door spoken of and entered alike by both shallow and deep capacities, and cultivated and studied over the long term.
