戒、定、慧法能生法身，戒根不完，徒修禪慧，豈有清淨妙體從婬欲生？沙飯異因，孰論劫數。
The dharmas of precepts, concentration, and wisdom are able to give birth to the dharmakāya; if the root of precepts is not complete, cultivating dhyāna and wisdom is in vain. How could a pure and wonderful substance be born from lustful desire? Sand and rice are different causes; what kalpas can one speak of?
