初喻大妄止成苦本，後喻求道終無得理，如人噬臍了不相及。《春秋傳》曰「若不早圖，後君噬臍。」

First, the analogy shows that great falsehood merely becomes the root of suffering. Next, the analogy shows that seeking the Path will ultimately never succeed, just as a person biting his own navel can never reach it. The Chunqiu Zuo Zhuan says: 'If you do not plan early, later you, my lord, will bite your navel [in vain regret].'
