「阿難！由因世界虛妄輪迴動顛倒故，和合氣成八萬四千飛沈亂想，如是故有卵羯邏藍流轉國土，魚、鳥、龜、蛇其類充塞。」
"Ānanda, because in the world there is the inversion of movement through false transmigration, by combining with vapors there are formed eighty-four thousand chaotic thoughts of flying and sinking. Thus there are the egg-kalalas circulating through the lands, with fish, birds, turtles, and snakes filling their classes."
