「由因世界罔象輪迴影顛倒故，和合憶成八萬四千潛結亂想，如是故有想相羯南流轉國土，神、鬼、精靈其類充塞。」
"Because in the world there is the inversion of shadow through illusory transmigration, by combining with recollection there are formed eighty-four thousand chaotic thoughts of latent binding. Thus there are the thought-ghanas circulating through the lands, with spirits, ghosts, and apparitions filling their classes."
