「由因世界愚鈍輪迴癡顛倒故，和合頑成八萬四千枯槁亂想，如是故有無想羯南流轉國土，精神化為土木、金石，其類充塞。」

"Because in the world there is the inversion of folly through dull transmigration, by combining with obstinacy there are formed eighty-four thousand chaotic thoughts of withered dryness. Thus there are the thoughtless ghanas circulating through the lands, with vital spirits transforming into earth, wood, metal, and stone, filling their classes."
