「九者枉習交加，發於誣謗，如是故有合山、合石、碾磑、耕磨，如讒賊人遇抂良善。二習相排，故有押捺、搥按、蹙摝、衡度諸事。是故十方一切如來，色目怨謗同名讒虎，菩薩見枉如遭霹靂。」

"Ninth is the habit of false accusation, mutually inflicting, arising from calumny and slander. Thus, there are colliding mountains, crushing rocks, millstones, and plowing rollers, like a slanderous thief framing the virtuous. As the two habits press upon one another, there are thus events such as pinning down, beating, pressing, shaking, weighing, and measuring. Therefore, all the tathāgatas of the ten directions characterize malicious slander unanimously as 'slanderous tigers.' Bodhisattvas regard false accusation as being struck by a thunderbolt."
