9.191

初二句勸依本修治智慧觀察也，則彼下顯魔不得便。一人發真，世界消殞，今入三昧，寧不動魔？苟能深入禪定，唯觀實相，魔界、佛界一如無二，生死涅槃、山河大地，皆即狂勞、虛妄華相，故云如何敢留擾亂禪定。

The first two lines exhort cultivating according to the fundamental through contemplation with wisdom. From 'then those' onward shows that māras will not gain their advantage. When one person brings forth reality, the world melts away; now as one enters samādhi, how could it not disturb the māras? If one can enter deeply into dhyāna-concentration and solely contemplate the real mark, the realm of māra and the realm of the Buddha are suchness without duality; samsāra and nirvāṇa, the mountains, rivers, and the great earth are all just frantic toil and illusory flower-appearances. Hence it says, 'how would they dare linger to disturb your dhyāna-concentration?'
