「又以此心研究澄徹，精光不亂，忽於夜合，在暗室內見種種物不殊白晝，而暗室物亦不除滅。此名心細密澄其見，所視洞幽。暫得如是，非為聖證。不作聖心名善境界，若作聖解即受群邪。」

"Further, as this mind investigates until it is clear and transparent, with its concentrated light undisturbed, suddenly at nightfall, inside a dark room, he sees various objects no differently than in broad daylight, while the objects in the dark room are not eliminated either. This is called the mind finely and densely clarifying its vision, so that what it sees penetrates the dimness. It is an experience attained temporarily and is not a noble realization. If he does not generate a notion of holiness, it is called a wholesome state; but if he adopts an interpretation of holiness, he will succumb to a host of demons."
