「此名功用陵率過越。悟則無咎，非為聖證，覺了不迷，久自銷歇。若作聖解，則有狂魔入其心腑，見人則誇，我慢無比，其心乃至上不見佛、下不見人，失於正受，當從淪墜。」

"This is called crossing over and exceeding due to effort and rashness. If they awaken, there is no fault; it is not a realization of the sage. If they understand it clearly and do not become deluded, after some time it will naturally subside and cease. But if they interpret it as the realization of a sage, then a demon of madness will enter their viscera: seeing people, they will boast; their arrogance will know no equal; their minds will go so far as to see no Buddha above and no humans below. Losing right reception, they will fall into degeneration."
