希求既起，魔伺便來，影附他人，為善知識。感心激切，認是先師，法愛倍生，膠漆何異。
Once the hope and seeking have arisen, the demon, lying in wait, promptly arrives, casting its shadow upon another person to act as a spiritual friend. The responsive mind is aroused and keen, recognizing him as the former teacher; Dharma-attachment doubles, no different from glue and lacquer.
