9.394

「口中常說十方眾生皆是吾子，我生諸佛，我出世界，我是元佛，出世自然不因修得。此名住世自在天魔，使其眷屬如遮文茶及四天王、毘舍童子未發心者，利其虛明，食彼精氣，或不因師，其修行人親自觀見，稱執金剛與汝長命，現美女身盛行貪欲，未逾三歲肝腦枯竭，口兼獨言，聽若妖魅，前人未詳，多陷王難，未及遇刑先已乾死，惱亂彼人以至殂殞。汝當先覺，不入輪迴；迷惑不知，墮無間獄。」

"In his mouth he constantly proclaims: 'All sentient beings of the ten directions are my children; I give birth to all Buddhas; I produce the worlds; I am the primordial Buddha; I appeared in the world spontaneously and not on account of cultivation.' This is named the heavenly demon of sovereignty abiding in the world, who sends his retinue, such as Cāmuṇḍā and those of the Four Heavenly Kings and piśāca youths who have not yet resolved [on bodhi]; taking advantage of his empty clarity, they feed on his vital essence. Or, without relying on a teacher, the practitioner personally sees him claim, 'I am Vajrapāṇi and will give you long life,' manifesting the body of a beautiful woman and lavishly engaging in lustful craving; before three years pass, his liver and brain are dried up, and his mouth also talks to itself, sounding like a phantom goblin. Those around him do not comprehend it, and mostly fall into distress with the king; before reaching their execution, they have already dried up and died. Thus he confuses and harasses that person unto death. You must become aware beforehand and not enter the cycle of transmigration; if confused and unaware, you will fall into the Relentless Hell."
