此文即同《涅槃經》云「未來世中，是魔波旬漸當壞亂我之正法，乃至現比丘、比丘尼及阿羅漢像，非法說法，非毀戒律，自言得聖，惑亂世間。」以此二經鑒于世間，稱聖毀戒者非魔而誰？

This text is identical to the Nirvāṇa Sūtra, which says: 'In future ages, this Demon Pāpīyas will gradually corrupt and disorder my correct Dharma, even manifesting forms of bhikṣus, bhikṣuṇīs, and arhats, preaching non-Dharma as Dharma, slandering and destroying the precepts and vinaya, claiming to have attained sagehood, and confusing and disordering the world.' Looking at the world through these two sūtras, who else could those who claim sagehood while destroying the precepts be, if not demons?
