"World-Honoured One! If such a person cultivating the mind and seeking right concentration is in the bodhimaṇḍa, or walking elsewhere, or even walking relaxed through villages, our retinue will constantly follow, attend, and guard this person. Even if the Mara King or Maheśvara seeks an opportunity, they will never find one. All lesser ghosts and spirits must stay ten yojanas away from this good person, except for those who have resolved their minds and delight in cultivating dhyāna. World-Honoured One! If such evil maras or their retinues wish to encroach upon and disturb this good person, I will smash their heads to fine dust with my precious vajra pestle, constantly enabling this person to fulfill what they wish."
