「今依前」者，今師以第四呪是護經故，屬流通。「生起三段如別文」者，《光明疏》云「序本序於正通，正本正於序通，通本通於序正。」即生起也。

Regarding “Now relying on the former”: our master, because the fourth dhāraṇī protects the sūtra, assigns it to the dissemination section. Regarding “The sequential origination of the three divisions is as in the other text”: the Commentary on the Golden Light states, “The preface is originally a preface to the main text and the dissemination; the main text is originally the main text for the preface and the dissemination; the dissemination is originally the dissemination for the preface and the main text.” This is indeed sequential origination.
