3.33

「自有」下，即前明古人分經，以正說盡第四呪也。「即是」下，出其義。謂前三別治三障，後一總治三障也。「若不」下，明今解兼得總別者，如初番呪正破煩惱重者即別，餘二障隨滅即總。餘二例之。

From "There are naturally" below: That is, the earlier explanation that the ancients divided the sūtra by making the primary teaching end at the fourth dhāraṇī. From "That is" below: Bringing out its meaning. This means that the first three distinctly cure the three obstacles, and the latter one generally cures the three obstacles. From "If not" below: Clarifying that the present interpretation encompasses both the general and the distinct. As the first turn of the dhāraṇī primarily destroys what is heavy in afflictions, which is the distinct, the remaining two obstacles are eliminated along with it, which is the general. The remaining two are by analogy with this.
