1.17

第一釋其教主，第二以處表事，第三顯教被機，第四見身同異，第五出經宗體，第六聽法軌儀，第七見聞得利，第八釋經題目，第九翻譯時節，第十依文判釋。

First, explaining its teaching lord; second, indicating affairs by means of place; third, revealing the teaching's accord with faculties; fourth, the sameness and difference of seeing the body; fifth, setting forth the sūtra's central theme and essence; sixth, the rules and decorum for listening to the Dharma; seventh, obtaining benefit through seeing and hearing; eighth, explaining the sūtra's title; ninth, the periods of translation; tenth, determining and interpreting according to the text.
