Regarding the second, indicating affairs by means of place: there are three kinds: first, indicating affairs by means of the country; second, indicating affairs by means of the grove; third, indicating affairs by means of the park. First, indicating affairs by means of the country: this is Śrāvastī country, in Chinese called the City of Renown; it is the city governed by King Prasenajit of Central India, used to symbolize that the Tathāgata eternally transcends the three realms, forever surpasses the two vehicles, compassionately moistens the four modes of birth, and his body is complete with the myriad virtues—therefore he resides in the Far-Reowned City. Second, indicating affairs by means of the grove: this is the Jetavana, in Chinese called the Victorious Grove; this is the grove donated by Prince Jeta (Victorious in Battle), used to symbolize the Tathāgata's Dharma grove of the seven factors of awakening compassionately shading all. Third, indicating affairs by means of the park: this is Anāthapiṇḍadārāma; this is the park donated by Elder Sudatta, symbolizing that the Tathāgata possesses boundless Dharmas to bestow and give to all impoverished sentient beings. This concludes the second, indicating affairs by means of place.
