若作法時，問僧云：僧今和合何所作為？答云：某事羯磨。且待答者坐竟，方始作白。廣有廢立，如《義鈔》中。

When performing the ritual, if one asks the saṃgha: 'The saṃgha is now harmonious, what shall it do?' and the reply is: 'Such-and-such a karman,' one must wait until the respondent has finished sitting before beginning to recite the motion (jñapti). The extensive rules on what to abrogate and establish are as stated in the Commentary on the Meaning (Yichao).
