二明失法。謂受欲已，遇緣便失，不簡病人之所，及以僧中。今統明失法。

Second, explaining the loss of the rite. This refers to having already received the chanda, but upon encountering certain conditions it is immediately lost, regardless of whether it is at the sick person's place or within the saṃgha. Now, the modes of loss are explained comprehensively.
